Hi-5!: Term 2 Week 4 - Visit to the (almost complete) Internet Cafe!

Hey!

we had our RE lesson today again, and we started off with Mrs Yap's instructions and checking of our updated RE file. After understanding Mrs Yap's concern on how the Internet Cafe will be operating, and how we should ask Mrs Suwandi about the sponsorship letters, we left RI and made our way to Chaoyang School.

During the meeting with Mrs Suwandi, we found out that Chaoyang will be hosting an important event in school on Week 6 (so we'll not be able to go there), and the Internet Cafe will be done by then! Here are some pictures on how the current (almost complete) Internet Cafe looks like...

Also, we discussed on the time line for our lesson plans with Mrs Suwandi and confirmed that lessons will be held during Week 7 onwards. Over the last 4 weeks in Term 2, lesson plans for hospitality and inter-personal relationship will be covered, while money management skills will be covered as revision on Term 3 Week 1 for students who will be operating this Internet Cafe.

We'll also have to finish preparations for the lessons to teach those students who are managing the Internet Cafe, which includes refining and expanding our lessons plans, finishing up our picture menus and other materials for teaching by Week 6. On Week 5, we'll be having our last visit on students, to find out more about their Life Skills lessons, so as to be better prepared to teach and interact with them.
